God's Plan: Bob McDonnell gets Two Years in Prison.

Former Gov. Bob McDonnell (former VP wannabe) got a car and a nice watch
a few years ago preventing him from being in the clown car for 2016.

USA Today - RICHMOND, Va. — Former Virginia governor Bob McDonnell will spend two years in federal prison after asking for mercy Tuesday at his own sentencing hearing on public corruption convictions.
Judge James R. Spencer revealed McDonnell's punishment after McDonnell was found guilty Sept. 4. on 11 of 13 federal charges filed against him. The former governor, indicted 10 days after leaving office, was convicted of trading access to the power of the governor's office for more than $165,000 in loans and high-end gifts, and prosecutors wanted him to spend more than 10 years in federal prison.
"I stand before you a heartbroken and humbled man," McDonnell said in court Tuesday before Spencer handed down the sentence. He will have to report to prison by Feb. 9.

Mike Huckabee climbs aboard the clown car.

He's in the clown car again!

Washington (CNN) Mike Huckabee's announcement on Saturday to end his Fox News show marked yet another significant move by a key player in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, bringing the 2016 contest further into focus as a deep bench of prospective candidates begins to test the waters.
The former Arkansas governor said Saturday night's episode of "Huckabee" would be his last. It was a necessary step, he said, as he explores a second presidential bid, a decision he stressed he won't finalize until the spring.
"I say goodbye, but as we say in television, stay tuned. There's more to come," he said at the end of his show.

The 2016 Clown Car Begins....

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, brother of former Pres. George W. Bush (invaded Iraq, screwed up Middle East, let US economy slip into wost Recession since the Depression, etc), forms new PAC today. He's the first GOP candidate that we're putting in the 2016 GOP Clown Car.
(Reuters) - Republican Jeb Bush will launch a political action committee on Tuesday that allows him to raise money for political activities as he considers a run for his party's 2016 presidential nomination.
The former Florida governor intends to file paperwork for the PAC, called "The Right to Rise," on Tuesday, according to his spokeswoman Kristy Campbell.
The move, which was expected, allows Bush to talk to donors formally before a fundraiser on Wednesday in Greenwich, Conn. It also puts pressure on other potential 2016 Republican presidential candidates who are aligned with major party donors.
Bush, 61, said on Dec. 16 he was actively exploring a run for the U.S. presidency in 2016 and would establish a political action committee in January.
The son of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush and the brother of former President George W. Bush, Jeb Bush served as Florida governor from January 1999 until January 2007.
